Every standing desk we looked at felt like office furniture, so we built one with a real timber top. Each desk pairs a hand sanded, polyurethane sealed solid timber top with a sturdy steel electric frame. It looks like part of your home and moves with you through the day.

Delivery and pickup+

Care+
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. Mild soapy water is all it needs, and keep standing water off the surface.

It started with one desk for our own home. Every standing desk we looked at felt like it belonged in a call centre, so we built our own with a real timber top. Now we build them for other Brisbane homes, one at a time.
Every top is sanded by hand to bring up the grain, then sealed in a hard wearing polyurethane coat and fitted to a sturdy steel electric frame. The video shows the whole process, from the first pass of sandpaper to the final coat.

Each desk is made to order. Our usual build time is about one week, depending on current orders and timber supply.

Can I pick it up myself?+
Yes, pickup is free. We’ll confirm the address and a time once your desk is ready.
How often should I stand?+
Most people start by switching every 30 to 60 minutes and adjust from there. Build up gradually, and comfortable shoes or an anti fatigue mat make longer stretches easier.
